Oh shit. Shawn, I'm really sorry. I'm glad you shared this, because no one's going to judge you, or judge your marriage. I'm glad you'll be so close to your girls, too. I know we haven't communicated very frequently in the past few years, but I'm here if you want to vent.
Sorry to hear about this. I had no idea. You know I'm close by if you want to try and get together and talk about anything. It seems like we both have a lot of depressing shit going on.
Hey buddy. Sorry to hear this. At times like this it's hard to count your blessings, but, like you said, you'll still be geographically and emotionally close to your daughters, and it sounds like Jen will remain a friend. From the perspective of a child of divorce, I can say that I'm glad that my own parents stayed close, and the transition to full separation was a smooth one (relatively speaking). Many people seem to suffer trauma from rancorous parental divorce, but I was barely even aware of it. And look how well-adjusted I turned out! Lol, bad example. THE POINT IS: count ye blessynges, both for your sake and for the sake of your daughters.
