Cleaning my own space isn't bad, and while I may be a bit cluttered, it isn't as bad as it could easily be.
I'm so tempted to do the whole "I'm not your mom, clean up after yourself" thing, but part of the reason I'm hesitant to do so is that sometimes I run out of the house for work without doing my dishes, because I trust that someone else will take care of them for me since I've taken care of theirs in the past.
I can sympathize with this too. I hate doing the dishes, I'd rather do laundry, vacuum, cook, almost anything but cleaning litter boxes or dishes, which is why if I have pets it might be one or two, and they will have one of those auto boxes with disposable trays.
Anyway, I'm annoyed today because Mom asked me to do her laundry like two weeks ago, and I immediately did two loads and told her since I was going out, I just put it in a basket, could she please fold it herself, as it's her laundry, this shouldn't be a big deal.
Today she asked me to do more laundry, when I took it down there the laundry from two weeks ago was STILL in the basket and all over the floor where dad, that mouth breathing cheapo who can't do his laundry somewhere else but god forbid he have to fold a load in the dryer when he brings his shit down here to do, had tossed it.
Then there's Michael. Sunday mom did the weekend dishes, I had a clean sink. Guess who decided to do his once a week cleaning?
Just don't be surprised when they get all defensive when you confront them with their messes. No one likes being called out on their shit. But it is best to do it and have it out there. Although, if you do decide to go the passive aggressive notes route, please make scans.
Just kidding. Anyway, I know things will get better, just think, when they are on their own they'll have the trashiest apartments known to man! (or Disney World) :O

A good deal of the time, that is the case.
Other times, it is not so much.
