I know I've recced it before, but I can now say that the wonderful ' Storm Track' was written for me by my friend ariadne1! It's amazing and I couldn't have received a better gift. When I wrote 'no happy ending and no romance needed' into the prompt, I'd hoped that would let the author do service to the story and what it needed. And that's just what she ( Read more... )

Oh, it was. Maybe it's odd to call a story with such content "fun", because some of it was really quite horrid, but it was just... well, hard to describe. Definitely a page-turner (if computer screens had pages to turn).

I haven't read any fan-fiction for quite a long time now, so I am glad that this one turned out so well. Great writing, and great plot! And I liked the relationship development...

So... Was Draco a Squib when he was born? I have my theory, but I'd like to read yours ;o)

I'm glad you liked it!

I imagine DM was a squib, and that LM doing the ritual on him is what made him magical (which would make DM's feelings even harder to work through).

Thank you! By the time I got to the art, I'd mostly recovered from the torturous journey of writing the story. It's a great example of art as healing :)
