The Return of V

I remember not liking V when it originally ran on TV.  Of course, I was also in my 'too cool for TV' phase back then.  But is it just me or did the original series kind of suck?

Still, it's a brand new day for V with the relaunched series starring both Morena Baccarin and Alan Tudyk.  Yep, with that casting, they're pretty much making me watch.  ( Read more... )

I used to love V, and didn't miss an episode. Of course I was only 7 or 8 when it was airing down here.

Love Sonia :)

I was a teen and a punk - TV was social conformity! (laughs) I hear the miniseries was really good.

Mmm another old sci-fi reboot? Why not. Considering how much I loved the new BSG and the new Star Trek movie...

I never saw the original day and the clips look pretty good. Mmmm Morena Baccarin.... Mmm Alan Tudyk. Fantastic casting, I can't see a reason not to give it a watch.

The casting is great. I haven't heard who's writing/running it, and that does make a difference.

Yes. Yes it did. Or at least that's what I recall.

Baccarin is the leader of the aliens, so she's getting to do a something more than just 'be pretty'

...such as swallowing guinea pigs whole and ripping off her skin? *g*

I hear the miniseries was good, but I remember the TV show being horrible.

Or disgorging until she's turned herself inside out to show her true form as a big green blob.

Oooo. V. I loved that when I was like, 8. I was a sci-fi geek even then. And Alan Tudyk? I am so there.

I thought it might be DB too, but it's not (this guy's not quite as pretty).

I was a rebellious teen who didn't watch TV, so as much as I love scifi, I didn't watch this. ?

I'd forgotten they were lizards.
