I failed my mid-term exam in cataloging. I am certain of it. It's a pretty picky subject, not something you can just make up if you aren't 100% sure. And for almost every question, I had no clue. I have been meaning to do this for weeks and I am only getting to it now because I have pages bookmarked and haven't turned my computer off since I bookmarked them, to remind myself to post at them. And it's damn time I turned my computer off due to updates that want me to restart my computer.

The Pillars of the Earth
I am currently watching The Pillars of the Earth, which is turning out to be an amazing mini-series. Based on the novel by Ken Follett (which I haven't read but now would like to) set in England in the 12th Century. Saw this video today of Aimee Mann... I confess I didn't listen to her then or now, but I love her hair here! WOW. Amazing. Black leather helps too. I so miss that 80s punk hair that was spiky all over and kind of androgynous. Why can't that hair come back? <3 ( Read more... ) -

Went to the Salvation Army yesterday, and on a whim I bought a book that looked vaguely interesting. The Sharing Knife, by Lois McMaster Bujold. I do not believe I have heard of this author before... but the insert listed Nebula and Hugo awards, and said she has won more Hugo Awards for Best Novel than any other author with the exception of Robert ( Read more... ) -
