As a responsible owner of sugar gliders and leopard geckos (and a veterinary professional and pre-vet student), I feel this sort of legislation must be stopped. The incidents of escaped pets becoming a truly harmful, invasive species are very few compared to those that have not and could not. So, I had no idea they were even considering such bans. Where can I find the information about it? That's really unnerving that they'd go that far for critters such as lizards and hamsters and such. What a bunch of pricks. I'll definitely read up on it.
