i can understand that... when i was dating my ex in the summer, i broke down into tears and wanted to tell him about this and me but instead i related it to a friend of mine who i know is going through the same thing but ashamed to admit it... i felt horrible and even more guilty for not telling him the truth but then again when i finally did it was when he was breaking up with me which didn't help things at all... made them worse infact.. but ignore that...

Hi
I am just commenting on some journals from communities I'm in, hope you don't mind. I just wanted to say that I got rid of my scale and it makes my life a hellofalot easier. I still worry about it, but the lack of numbers makes it alot easier for me

It probably would, but I noticed that when I don't have a scale, I tend to obsess more, (like when I've gone on vacation) I think the absolute worst (ie I've gained 10 pounds). actually I tend to lose weight during these times, but def at a very high personal cost to my sanity that I don't think I could really take for any extended time.... I don't know if that makes sense.
