I loved my summer courses because we were super focused. If you prep after class each day for the next class it is not too bad -- if you skip one prep though, it really hits you.

I'm so impressed with your ever expanding brain!

I agree 100%; I always took courses in the summer that I wanted to get over with quickly, but it was total immersion therapy. That's all I did. But when you were done, you were DONE!!!

Interview for your journal

1) What do you most like and dislike about your career/job?

2) What's your favorite color? Discribe it with three adjectives.

3) Does the ends justify the means? Does it depend on the situation?

4) What's your favorite food?

5) What's your favorite joke. share it if you can.

Summer Classes lyriclemon March 29 2006, 18:19:01 UTC
I was terrified of Science courses in college, so decided to take Oceanography as one of my required Science courses during the summer. A lot of the other students in the class were actually public school Science teachers wanting to foist Oceanography on their high school students. I was scared to death. But it turned out to be a really interesting class with a great teacher and I scored an A! I was actually so idealistic back then (no different from NOW) that I made my instructor give me a "Pass" instead of the "A," as I'd decided that grades were irrelevant and stupid and took my classes as "Pass-Fail." You can imagine the fun I had trying to get into graduate school later, when all my teachers refused to change my "Pass" grades into the "A"s they should have been in the first place!
