I agree that Lisa's reaction was out of left field. I don't think it's realistic either. But on the other hand, he saved her and Ben, so maybe since she sort of started to idealize him, put him in a hero light, the proverbial knight in a shining armor. not healthy, but it could happen.

her reaction to him showing back up on her doorstep two years later, assuming she has no boyfriend/husband and wanting to be a family and her "okay, yeah, great!" seemed really out of character and unrealistic.
It did feel very forced. I would have bought that whole exchange a bit more if her reaction had been more along the lines of: "WTF, I haven't seen you in two years, and you lay this on me?" Dean's obviously at a low point, desperate, and clinging to a fantasy. I get that. But where the writers had a chance to counteract that with some reason and realism, they didn't. Weird.
