Best of luck to you! I wish I could say I know what house-hunting is like, but alas, it won't happen for me in this lifetime, and I've made my peace with that.

The last place sounds intriguing. I've always loved looking at houses. My mother and I did the househunting before my parents bought their current house. Even after they bought it, Mom and I would still occasionally go on the "Street of Dreams" Open House tour. It's just so much fun seeing other houses. All the possibilities...

Good luck on your search!

Good luck with your search! Devora & I went looking while I was still new to Clifford Chance. Wages weren't exactly keeping up with house prices, & at the rate that things are going in Congress, mine probably won't for a long time anyway.

That's why we're largely looking at bank-owned. We actually passed up a couple of really nice-looking places in Cottage City because they were too small for our needs for you, Devora and a few cats they might be perfect. Should I send along links?

Good luck! i know house hunting is hard and frustrating, but you guys sound like you are doing really well on your own. It's great that you can do so much work on it yourselves, and i hope you find what you are looking for soon! *hug*
