I feel down. No job, living on someone's couch (I am thankful for them letting me do that), lots of expenses (school), can't afford my music lessons, and college debt. I want to be financially independent and stable. I want a place to live.

I am still trying to figure that out. I have no b-day plans besides getting my voter registration card as proof of residence so I can renew my license (which expires tomorrow) at the DMV, checking out an appartment, and going to orientation for my master's program as well as my Chinese class. Tomorrow is going to be hell!

I'm sorry things aren't working out so well for you now. I'll bet they'll get better soon though!

och... sorry about my spotty phone skills. Tonight is chris' birthday, so I think we may be going out, but I'm not sure when. provided we're not out too late you can swing by after! I'll email or call when I know more about time, and if it doesn't work today, we should definately this week. (wednesday?)

Hope you're feeling better by now. Sounds like you might be nervous about starting your master's program--only natural to be nervous about starting something new.

Your program sounds really interesting and I'm sure you'll learn a lot from it. Let us know how it goes.

Oh love - I know exactly how you feel, mostly because I'm in the same boat (jobless for months, living on someone's couch).
