Awesomesauce, and thankyou! :D

I'm sorry nothing came of it the first time around though, I remember you being enthusiastic about the idea on Tumblr.

I'm thinking of basing it on LJ, but with lots of Tumblr based promotion considering the active portion of the fandom over there right now. Do you think that might work?

Cool, thankyou :D I was thinking of AO3, especially as you can post fic and art together there. A collection would be a great plan.

Sleep well :)

Awesome! :D I think it could be a lot of fun *fingers crossed*

Does the time limit look OK to you?

12 weeks for both writers and artists? Sounds good to me - I really appreciate the equal time for both.

Everything looks good to me! That should be plenty of time to write, from an author pov.

The only thing that I'd chime in on was the possible mandatory beta. I've never been in a challenge where this was done, so I'm not sure how this would work. What would the beta's job be? Checking for grammar? Plot holes? Tone/aesthetics? Does the author have to listen to the beta, or is it just a "hey, this is what I thought, do with it what you will" sort of thing? How will you enforce/monitor the mandatory beta? At what point would it have to be done?

Thanks :D

I've done away with the beta thing. In the (admittedly few) big bangs I've done, and the ones I've looked into, they've always required a beta. But I'm not convinced it should be compulsory. So I've made it optional but recommended (mainly for typo-spotting).

I would love to do this. Waveburst, on Ao3 and Sound-and-Fury on Tumblr.
