it was a lovely sunny day here so i gave all the rat cages a really good scrub and swapped the oldies into the freddy so the tom is now empty for bubbas. i have been worrying about Oregon and her back legs, so it made sense to put her and her pals in the freddy.  wasnt there some nutter on a forum who said the freddy wasnt big enough for rats?? and

ooh its good to see you back here, no i havent taken Omaha to any shows and i am now completely convinced there is something "wrong" with her, she has put on more weight and is like a big fluffy cushion, its more than just chunkiness. i know my breeder girls get big but she is mahoosive, i might weigh her this evening.

i just weighed Omaha and she now weighs a truly epic 740g, i am now pretty convinced its some sort of strange genetic issue.
