Protests

Well I missed all of last night's protest at Fruitvale, but I did walk through the one last week. It was still in the touching candlelight vigil phase when I saw it, before all the reasonable people went home and a bunch of assholes started calling the shots. Anyway I did not miss the protest happening around the corner from my office this morning

I read that the troublemakers were a bunch of leftist (communist revolutionary type) nuts, and also anarchists.

I really respect peoples beliefs and their freedom of speech, but locking out people to the Israeli Consulate is hardly going to help matters. Especially because the way those protesters are requesting their "demands" are only causing the people trying to help Israel (here in the US) to not be able to do their jobs. Not to mention even if they lock themselves to a building in SF they still won't have missles landing in their apartment building (in Gaza or Israel).

I hate the protests these days. Next thing you know we're going to have Hippies walking through Haight St again! Argh!!
