Happy Easter/Passover/Spring Festivus!

Apr 16, 2006 04:05

I've been out of commission for a few weeks. No, I didn't get arrested for trafficking in illegal BBM DVDs. I was felled by something I usually savor - bile! That's right, folks, I may no longer have the wherewithal to snark.

Thanks for checking up on me, KL! And ooh - what a yummy, yummy icon. That's a great JJ pic. I love him. I mean it. That's what I meant, I swear.

Thanks, Jess! I'm glad you got to go home for Passover and a family visit.

And I love AJ's gown in your icon.

I'm sure you came through the procedure with your snark mojo fully intact. Just wait until the next time the PWs use Stabler as their whipping boy, the bile levels will rise as if you had the most pristine gall bladder known to man. ;)

Within the last ten years both of my parents had their gall bladders removed, so I wonder if that may be something in my future. Also, your story made me remember that in high school I took the tape of my mom's surgery for my anatomy class to watch. It was a great way to get out of taking notes for a day.

You were correct in your bile assessment - just finished reading a few annoying SVU fanfics, and managed to get as annoyed as ever!

About the future of your gall bladder - I think family history is a factor. As for that tape story, I can't believe your teacher didn't send you to the school counselor! And no, I won't be posting my surgical debut on YouTube. I sincerely hope there is no videotape evidence of the procedure!

There is no operation in this world that could de-bile you enough to lose that snarque. Um, if that sentence made any sense. It turned out to be a more complex pattern than it had seemed in my head as I scoffed at the idea of a snarque-free UV. And it just makes me giggle that in the midst of an attack that could have been curtains, as you say, you still had the good sense to comment internally on erroneous word usage. Ha! That's my Master.

On a more serious note, I am sure glad it wasn't curtains! Welcome back.

HA! Look at your icon. I love it. That just rocks. I can't stop smirking. I'm so glad I avoided the curtains long enough to appreciate it.

Thanks for everything!

Thanks, Ana Paula. It feels good to be back in circulation, even if it's just baby-steps. Or baby-posts.

Thanks so much, Dargie! The afternoon here turned sunny and gorgeous, so I went for a long walk. Felt exhausted afterwards, but it is nice to be able to go out and enjoy it.
