I really like this new site I found via postsecret. I keep checking for any pics I recognize, even though I can't remember the last time I lost a camera.

Recently, I have noticed a decrease in the quality of Brian's Netflix movies that he's renting. Upon inquiry, he admitted that this was because he had seen all the movies he really wanted to see and was now just adding to his queue whatever Netflix suggested he might like. I got up early today, and then stressed because the traffic was so awful that I didn't get to work until 10 anyway. Turns out, the samples I put in the machine to analyze yesterday afternoon are still running, and my plan for today is to analyze that data. Figured out the scheme for upstairs. The enclosed part of the bathroom is going to be light teal, and the open part is going to be cream with dark teal stenciling. Then the bedroom is going to be cream with an aubergine border. Now all I have to do is actually do it. I'm looking forward to it, although Brian has no faith in me doing stenciling ( Read more... )

So when we got the townhouse, Brian dubbed me "interior decorator" and gave me leave to do whatever I want. So far, I haven't done anything, because I've been crazy busy, but as I think I might get a couple more free weekends coming up, I used this one to begin my search into decorating land.
