Dolores Umbridge arrived at her office expecting to see the remains of the bloody and burned hall she'd been in last night.

Instead, it was pristine, like nothing ever happened. She knew she hadn't done this and she was almost positive one of the students wasn't idiotic enough to come into the school after hours

"Princess!" Hades greeted, appearing in Dolores' office with arms wide open.

"Excuse me?" Umbridge asked, confused. "What did you just call me?"

"Or is it High Inquisitor Princess now?"

[umbitch]

She glared at him. "You know perfectly well what my title is, Vice Principal. I can use yours. Use mine."

Hermione was not at all nervous-really-why-would-you-think-that-she's-fine-really when she went down to Umbridge's office, and she totally looked very calm. The very calm part was true, but it took a second just outside the door to make sure she didn't look at all nervous and to make sure her wand was in reach because she very definitely was not stupid.

"You asked to see me," she said unnecessarily at the door to the office. In her hand was a pretty thick stack of papers, too.

"Come inside," she said, voice hard.

Hermione stepped inside, placing the stack of papers on Umbridge's desk, far enough on her side that Umbridge would have to reach for them, and didn't say a word.

"Did you bring me a gift?"

Dawn took a deep breath and stared at the door to the office. She'd seen Sam standing guard, then saw him leave for class. This was the only time she'd have if she wanted to do the dumbest thing she'd done in the history of ever.

She'd promised Sam she wouldn't do this, but after what Umbridge had done to Sam and Dean and Luke, she wanted a bit of her own back. She took another deep breath, set her shoulders, firmed her chin, and knocked firmly on the door.

"Come inside," Umbridge called.

She went, and stood just inside the room with her back to the door. Maybe she should have brought a stake with her.

"Sit," Umbridge said, pointing at one of the chairs in front of her desk.
