Somehow Justin managed to lock himself in a cupboard. I have no idea how he managed that. The door was shut, he was playing outside. And then suddenly I heard noices from the cupboard. Justin has figured out how to get up on the book shelf. Saya is very annoyed about this. The shelf has always been the place she goes when she wants to get away from something she doesn't like. My cat is leaving me secret messages!
Justin just ran over the keyboard. When I got to the computer to make sure he hadn't done anything that needed fixing, I noticed that he'd written the word 'swede'. I wonder if he's trying to tell me something. -
Kitty update
We've been in Turku for a few days now and Justin hasn't had any problems making himself at home. Saya still doesn't like him, but at least she comes down from the shelf occasionally now. And she is getting a bit curious. She can sit staring intently at him while he's playing for a long time. And when he goes somewhere she can't see him, she ( Read more... ) -

So I went to pick up the new kitten today. He's the sweetest, most relaxed kitten ever. I named him Justin. Saya feels very offended. She's made it very clear that the whole world sucks. But she'll get used to him eventually.

Yay for good books
I just finished reading Sarah Monette's Mélusine, and I haven't been this into a book in a very very long time. The plot is interesting and I really like the writing style. And the fact that there are a lot of gay characters doesn't exactly hurt either. But the one thing that really got to me was Mildmay. I don't know what it is about him, but he ( Read more... )
