Dearka is dead. The rest of us live, though it was a close thing.

Addendum to my previous entry: a minor consequence of dying is that almost all my belongings are gone - most of it wasn't valuable (although those matrices will certainly be missed), it's very frustrating to lose ten years' worth of carvings. So. Apparently everything has gone to hell. I'd make some quip about how this is due to the lack of my wondrous presence, but I am not quite as self-centered as Varus some people I know.
