As witnessed in the past, everything on "This side of the wall", or "Under the big C Umbrella" sucks and tries to drain all things that give you the least bit of enjoyment while at work. If you were to follow all directives to the letter, one would have to sit here and stare at the screen for 7.5 hours, and only view things 'work related'. Even ( Read more... )

Honestly, I would love to take a few more calls. I didn't take a single call for the first 5 hours of my shift, then when the day shift left (we have a 5 hour overlap) I was in coaching "helping out" the new agents, since the entire evening shift consists of new hires (who had no y-connecting, no nesting, and hadn't even touched a phone until their first day on the floor) and me. There's also Jeremy, but he mostly just complains. He might complain even more than Remi :0

Now I admit, it wasn't exactly necessary to have me in coaching, but I only did slightly less work than everyone else. Only 21 calls came in for the entire day. Granted, we're not 24hrs (in fact we're 12hrs), but still, that calculates to less than 1 call per person given the amount of staffing we had. It probably comes to something like 0.875 calls per person. I know it could be worse, so I shouldn't complain, but that post was about AIM being the latest thing to be banned. Seeing as how I use it strictly as a work related tool (i.e. i rarely use it while not ( ... )

Damn!

I wonder if they'll let me borrow you back for a bit.

We hit a whopping 28% yesterday.

They still don't have an IVR down south to tell the people that have been waiting on hold for 45 minutes that they're broken, we're sorry they're broken, and we'll fix it when we fix it so just hang up.

Fie.

I'd offer to lend you the Risk board but they'd just ban that too.

I'll ask and see if I can snag you for admin work or something.
