I need to stop giving advice. When I listen to people, I tend to be a more active listener than I should be. I always end up advising and commenting. I have always had low self-esteem. It's something I'm working on, but it's slow going - nevertheless, I've noticed changes as I've changed my approach to dealing with it. Attempting to overcome paranoia and self-doubt by denying my gut reaction that says automatically that people don't want to be-around/talk-to me. I've been wallowing in self-pity for so long that I haven't given others a chance. I've decided it's actually fairly impolite on my part to make such assumptions. This move is going to be very stressful, I'm not looking forward to it at all.
I know I'll be fine, but I'm terrified of living alone.
After all I've been through I know living alone is not good for me at all.
I'm going to miss my roomies too. It's going to be hard to find people as fulfilling to be around.
