What is it with you? It's terminology for being strong. A soldier is *strong* being straight edge is being strong. Get it now? You can take what you do in life light if you want, but some people don't and straight edgers are some of these people. Even though I believe people can do what they want, I would love to rid this world of all these drugs that kill people. And when I say kill I don't mean just death, I'm talking family, job, and friends. So if I could conquer all drugs, and get rid of them, I WOULD! Weak people bring down this world, it's fact. How would you rather have you protect you if you needed it. A druggie, a drunk or a sober/drug free person? I would go with my 3rd choice.

Thanks brother! Some people just don't understand how people can have so much pride or commitment to something in their life. Especailly if this person does drink or do drugs. It will be a never ending battle, but it's a battle I will fight until death. Straight edge is about being strong, if you are weak, then your pride and commitment will be the same, but people just don't understand that. Thanks again brother and welcome!

I have a lot of pride and a lot of commitment in my life. Just because I drink alcohol doesn't make me any weaker than you. I'm 24 and if I want to have a beer with my dinner, so be it. It's no worse than putting red meat or caffeine..or suger..blah blah blah, into your body.
