Last Monday Recommendations

As thassalia commented last week, it's getting harder and harder to find early stories to recommend. There are stories that I fondly remember, yet when I go back a re-read, now years later, they aren't as well written as I remember.

That said, I still have two stories to recommend.

As the author of 'This Side of Paradise' I agree with you on all counts. It did end ridiculously sappy and I know I could write it much better. But then, I never like reading my old stories. Most of them seem so silly and asinine. Somehow, people liked it.

I'd forgotten about Orchidcactus's 'No Regrets'. Now that, to me, was a well written story.

Oh, I'm so glad I didn't offend you! Again, I found the story worthy of recommendation -- you'll note that Eating Companions was also recommended (by someone else) earlier this year.
