Right outside my apartment building.

last saturday, there was a military funeral for "Coty" West, a 23 year old who had just gotten to iraq a month before. The day before, there were three men holding American flags outside of Berea Baptist, where the funeral was held, which is on the same block as my apartment building. You know they were supposed to come once while I was there. We talked about counter protests and shit like that, but Booger (was was heading ACE at the time I think) said it was a bad idea. His whole thing was that they want you to counterprotest, throw shit, et cetra. It's attention. he got the papers to agree to not cover it, held some sort of gay pride thing that day at the school, and never even mentioned them. Kept it quite, and they didn't show. It seems they only go to places where people make a big deal about them being there.

Well, that would explain why the're protesting military funerals that have nothing to do you homosexuality whatsoever. Is this the only thing they can do to get attention anymore? (I have to admit I hadn't thought about them in a long time before this.)
