Knee Chronicles--the last

Saw the knee surgeon this week.  He said, in so many words, that unless I have pain, or serious accident, there is no need to see him again about the knee.  My difficulty in walking downstairs is just weakness, to be expected after only one year

I agree--I saw the xrays: my bony knee has clear grey bones with a vague grey area between them. The bionic knee has very very sharp grey ends to the bones, with nothing visible between them (the plastic apparently doesn't show up at all, and the metal shows better than the bones).
