a lady came to the door this afternoon.
says she'd like to buy our house.
...and my mom's actually considering it.

a man just called.
says we should vote against prop-2 tomorrow.
when i asked what prop-2 was, he wouldn't say.
what is prop-2?
not that i'm able to vote anyway.

Most have already voted, and I think the amendment will be passed, which is very sad.

i'm so dissapointed in my dad.
he is very supportive of it.
my mom.. i think.. is against,
learning that it would strip them of even having the right to be significant-others.

i voted already, and i voted against. i know a lot of people that are going to, or already have voted against. this may not make a difference, but at least we are trying.

i think one day, when our generation has the power the amendment will be repealed. hopefully anyway.

fortunately our day will eventually come. it would be nice if politicians thought about the future when they make these kind of blatantly ignorant decisions.

yea i'm extremely upset...it sucks...i won't have time to register and send off my ballot to vote while i'm here in iceland. i can't stand this much hate against homosexuals...

more especially the fact that if the amendment is passed, the right to even be considered a significant couple by the state is lost.
