Linux upgrade!
Well, after almost a month after it's release, I decided to upgrade to Mandriva 2006. Only 2 little snags... >#1: the release is so new that it hasn't been packed into a set of bootable CD images. Usually comes on 3 CDs, or one DVD. So I had to download and burn the "boot.iso" image that downloads/installs the shit from ftp servers and updates my ( Read more... ) -

Recently, I decided I wanted to play around with my old Atari 8-bit machine when I had some spare time, but the server I originally built that hosted the software and disk images that I used for my Atari is no longer held firmly by the death grip of one Bill Gates. Here I am, on the interstate, doing 70. Kayla is driving and I am surfing the internet. Trying to download a file from a friend, but it is sloooooooooow. But at least it' working. Heh. I love this wireless modem. 'Tis cool.

Recent events.
Final Fantasy XI. And lots of it. Nearly every waking moment not spend at work or on the road has been spent leveling my Tarutaru. His cooking skills suck, but he's getting better. What a fucked up day.
I woke up Tuesday afternoon to go to work and I had a slight pain in my mouth. Lower left, in the back. Didn't think much of it because I had been poked in that area by a corn chip the night before. I was chewing on it and it got crooked, and poked my gums. Well, I went to work, it got worse. Took some shit, pain subsided, day went on as normal. ( Read more... )
