I'm trying to make a list of (atleast)twenty-five books to read this summer. Any suggestions (unless they're Jane Eyre, The Lovley Bones, or Lord of The Flies) would be lovely.

[If you're still reading this &it would help, in the passed year I've read &fallen in love with: The Perks of Being A Wallflower, A Walk To Remember, You Remind Me of You, ( Read more... )

Catalyst was such a shit book. Especially comapred to Speak. Just my opinion.

I do recommend Burger Wuss by M.T. Anderson, just because it's cute & funny. I just finished reading Eating The Chesire Cat by Helen Ellis, &it's a very summer-read book.

Go read something RIGHT NOW by Mr. Kurt Vonnegut (Welcome To The Monkey House & Deadeye Dick stand to be my two favorites.) &yr life will be bettered. I guarantee this to you. THAT GOES FOR EVERYONE READING THIS. !!!

i think yr right. i didn't like catalyst as much as speak; but i guess you can't rival with yr own first novel when it was really great. the seconds & thirds will never be as good. margarent mitchell, who is the author who wrote gone with the wind, realized this after she wrote her first &only novel, &then quit, because she knew she could never write anything as equally great. wow, i'm babbling. k.

I'm sure you're done with the list...but I'm glad you have "Speak" on there--I just finished that (and posted some parts of it for that matter! :P) but my ALL time favorite book is Cut by Patricia McCormick. I'm currently reading Counting Stars which is fairly good so far. Give me reviews of each pplleeaassee!! I want some good books to read over the summer also. :) Love ya!

no problem--I've read it a million times...I always ask for it for my birthday and christmas and my mom always says "yeah...I'm going to tell everyone to get my daughter a book entitled "Cut"--no" Oh yes...I'm assuming you have read "They Cage The Animals At Night" if not--that one is great and is kinda like "A Child Called It" and "About A Boy"
