I'm trying to make a list of (atleast)twenty-five books to read this summer. Any suggestions (unless they're Jane Eyre, The Lovley Bones, or Lord of The Flies) would be lovely.

[If you're still reading this &it would help, in the passed year I've read &fallen in love with: The Perks of Being A Wallflower, A Walk To Remember, You Remind Me of You, ( Read more... )

the girl's guide to hunting and fishing- i loved some of the books you mentioned, so hopefully you'll like it. and a short story book called speaking with the angel, which was put together by the author of about a boy. i haven't read it yet, but it looks promising.

by the way, i'm reading second helpings right now. it's very easy to get lost in, isn't it?

When I read Sloppy Firsts, I tried to talk myself out of loving it to pieces. It's very.. highschool. But not in a bad way. When I saw Second Helpings, I seriously flew with it to the register. Teen quasi-dramas are an addiction of mine.

Just don't tell anyone. ;)

You should read The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood. It will make you cry and want to live in Louisiana. It is 10 times better than the stupid movie they made it into.

i keep commenting on your list. my name is madeline by the way. and i added you.
stargirl is amazing. ive read it 3 times. if you read the hours it is also interesting to read Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Wolfe. a picture of dorian grey by ocar wilde is also really good. i read it in school and really liked it. (just so you know, we skipped chapter 11 bc nothing happens and oscar wild was on opium when he wrote it)
