Before I forget...

I woke up at 7:30, and went back to bed for an hour, and had this dream.  You don't have to read this, it's for my own memory ( Read more... )

'There was a sleepover like a con, and I was lying on the ground next to Amelia, telling her about how I'd been very depressed earlier this year, and she told me "you know you're still suffering, right?" I told her yes, I did.'

This part sounds so sad. It sounds like a very powerful dream. I hope that you're feeling better than earlier in the year and that 2009 is an amazing year for you.

Thanks! It wasn't as sad in the dream as it sounds as plain text.

On further reflection, the unspoken subtxt in the dream was more an acknowledgment that I haven't taken care of the things that make me depressed in the first place, and that even if I learn to cope with them the best solution is to fix them. It was also a reminder that I'm not fooling anyone and that acting all strong around my friends about things that I'm struggling with is pointless, because they can see the truth.

So it is sad, but it's a sadness with friendly support, and implied solutions.

I hope 2009 is great for you too! I have a good feeling about this year.

I think I've visited that big-flower dream location in a couple of my dreams. There are areas with groups of dr. suiss looking flowers, but more beautiful, with the passion-ish flowers in the middle. There are other flowers that look almost like giant roses but the petals look kind of like cities. Some of the flowers have arches and buttresses built within the petals. It's a very beautiful place. I know of the orange hummingbirds and everything, and the sea being not far away.
I think we must have astral projected to this place. Maybe someday we can meet there.

Ok, enough of the all caps, but seriously, that's incredible. I knew we had a connection and all, but hot diggity dang!

I would love to meet you in this city someday. :)

Let's do it! ^_^
I've always fully believed that many places that I dream about are real. I think astral projecting is just part of what we epic-dreamers do. They exist outside us and we could totally meet there.
That would be so awesome! It really is so weird to have someone describe that place, since it's so specific and odd and beautiful and hard-to-describe. The whole place is full of a sense of wonder and the hugeness of worlds-within-worlds.
WE ARE SO COOL! <3 ^_^
