I've been fooling around on the piano.  Re-teaching myself a bit of musicality from my choir days.  It makes me very happy to have a grand piano in my house, and I plan to stop abusing this unlooked for privilege and learn to play it somewhat properly this year.  I'm also goint to tune my beautifully blue guitar and re-learn and re-build my

One of the things I want to do in the near future, but have been wanting to do for at least a year or two so I don't know when I'll get around to it- is buying the sheet music for a few of the songs from the amelie soundtrack, and learning how to play them on a piano. Because I think that would be awesome.
So good for you, and your piano playing-ness.
Do I ever get to see any of the fruits of your labor? As in, pretty pictures you have made? I would like that.

My entire purpose in learning to play the piano is playing Amelie songs, so I very much understand.

You get to see the fruits of my labor when I have made them. All of my ideas are half formed and not very cohesive and I'm sort of blocked. Getting unblocked slowly but surely, and then you can see my art. :)
