[It was probably for the best that Starwind and Zevran had decided to arrive separately otherwise they would never have arrived at all. As it was the elf spent most of the day out and by the time he returned to the house to dress Starwind had already left. Zevran sends a text through the network to Starwind, alerting his lover to his location and settles in the the area beneath the stars.]

[He places a soft kiss on Starwind's cheek before standing up.]

Of course you will have to lead the way, my love. I am unfamiliar with the dancing of your world.

[He motions to a small area where the music is drifting in their direction and it is just large enough for them to move.]

[He laughs again and grabs both of Zevran's hands with his own.]

[Hello, Zevran. Charis is here to bug you. She's wearing a victorian style gown and a mask that covers half of her face. She walks up to him and finds herself looking up at the fake stars.]

Kind of creepy in a way, isn't it?

[Zevran turns his head and as he looks her over that grin which unnerves so many rises to his lips.]

Hm? Oh yes, in a way. And yet, my lovely Charis, it is something many in this place would like to see. Perhaps it will be of some comfort to them.

[Fortunately, the grin just amuses her. She gives a small shrug.] It feels like a mix to me, some comforted by it and some unnerved by it.

Hm, this is true. [He grins as he looks up at it before turning his gaze onto her again.] So, how are you enjoying this party so far? I am surprised you are not being surrounded by admirers on the dance floor.

[She's more than happy to stop thinking about those who might be unnerved by it.] It's nice, reminds me of parties I went to a long time ago. [She laughs at his comment.] I think my date's chased most of them off.

Oh? And yet your date is not here confronting me. Hm, this almost makes me want to risk his wrath by further flirtations.

[He smirks and takes a moment to look particularly pensive.]

No, perhaps not. I do enjoy living.

[She laughs.] I don't know if he'd kill you for flirting with me. [Granted she's...not actually sure about that.] Besides, what he doesn't see won't hurt him, right?

This is true. In that case I will enjoy your lovely presence as long as I can. [He chuckles and winks.] Have I told you that your beauty this night could rival a goddesses?
