Absolutely perfect ending! That letter was absolutely beautiful. I had a feeling Future Peter had left her money to support her. Her mounting excitement, and his, to finally be together in the same time, and in love was wonderfully done. Peter was so cute, wanting to be with Claire, and his son, and just in the present.

First, I just have to say again that your description of baby Danny are delicious. "Danny eating a red popsicle, his baby face sticky and pink and beaming." That is such an adorable image!

That was a beautiful ending. Peter's letter really helped to tie up loose ends, and, more importantly, put everything into perspective by reminding us that all this had been planned by Future Peter and Claire.

It's amazing how time is relative, and what was more than 4 years for Claire was less than 5 days for Peter! That and the fact that Claire kept the secret about her pregnancy so patiently from everyone while waiting for Peter to catch up with her is amazing. You've really written Claire as a truly admirable person who grows from an impatient teen who wants to know everything about Future Peter right away, to a mature, wise-beyond-her years young woman. Super job!
