Last Thursday, I got an email that I was a semi-finalist for the Guild Complex's Very Short Fiction award, and that they would be picking the five finalists in the next two days. So my friend and I have a small business together, and I'm in charge of the taxes. Two weeks ago, my partner calls me up and says "Chris (her husband) is doing our taxes. To celebrate, we got take out Italian, and I'm bawling over the end of Dreamgirls.

People have asked for 2 of my fics on sgastoryfinders in the past week. First and second times in quick succession!

On a related note, I was at a school thing and this guy I took a class with two years ago was able to quote a line of something I wrote back to me. That was very weird. Flattering, but weird.
