on sunday, we finally ventured out together to the opposite side of Toyooka. compared to the frequently visited side of Toyooka, this part of the city is quieter, cleaner, wider, and definitely more ...european-ish. although their quaint little european shops [italian bakery, german restaurant, bagel shop, coffee houses] dotted the streets ( Read more... ) -

Missing out on O-bon
I'm walking to school, thinking how great it is to get to school early (8:08a.m. instead of 8:15a.m.), and I see no cars parked in the back lot of the school, except for a blue hunchback tucked in the same weedy spot since early this year. A question...
Here's my dilemma.
I received my bachelors degree in East Asian Language and Culture (Japanese), and I want to continue my education along this route. Would it be stupid to do a Masters degree in East Asian Language and Culture again? I'm afraid that if I do my Masters program in the same field as my bachelors, then I wouldn't be learning anything ( Read more... )
