Looking for the Wart

You know who Kay hasn't seen in a while? Anita, that's right. She's in a fairly good mood, and she'll fall in step with him.

"Royal We, or something." She shrugs. "It's just friendly language, Mr. Organizer. How you been?"

The Wart is, perhaps, odd for his age in that, between one thing and another, he has learned to be a very quiet boy. But beyond that, when Kay finds him (doubtless wandering wherever the snow is still most plentiful), he looks as if he has been getting up to all the things any normal boy of his age would if he had no parents or governesses or tutors about. Namely, tearing his clothes, scraping his knees, not washing his hands or his face, and generally having a grand old time of doing absolutely no work at all.

T: unlike their typist. hello!
