I'm sort of protected against that by my extreme nearsightedness. There may well be a bungee jumping spider in the shower with me, but the odds are very good that I'll never know. :grin:

The one who tried to websling down into the ground turkey I was cooking was a bit disconcerting, though. (I didn't know they liked poultry.)

Perhaps it was trying to get the turkey in its web, then it could claim it as its own meal on a technicality.
