Due to my little sister being hospitalized, my mother and I took a trip to Denver. We had planned to get there the same night we left, but we suffered from a flat tire and had to spend the night in a hotel as we couldn't find a place to get a new tire. Happy Independence Day, fellow Americans!

I just got back from my friend Leila's birthday party at a Nascar café. After we were done eating, we started wandering into the arcade, where I played a few rounds of Dance Dance Revolution.

In any case, there was no cake at the party, so Mom and I, plus my friend Andrew (who we were giving a ride), stopped at the grocery store for some. Yay!

Why is it so hard to find good fanfiction?

So yesterday while I was at work, Daddy had a seizure or something while driving. Luckily for him there was someone else in the pickup with him, and he was taken to the hospital. My aunt passed away a little while ago. I know I'm sad about it, but my mother must be feeling worse over it. I was downstairs listening to her on the phone, and I knew pretty quickly that it was bad news...

It's official. My aunt is not going to get any better. Her organs are starting to fail, and it's only a matter of time before she's taken off life support.

My aunt is now on life support. Mom had to give me a hug before she told me.
