[Hello, Holloway's! Lily here with her second video post. Videos are a million times easier to do than text posts! Lily can't write for shit. That much is obvious.
Anyway, Lily is outside. Grass and flowers and topiary sculptures, oh my! She looks pretty happy. There is some intense nature going on in the background, being beautiful and all.Hi, it

D --> Why would you invest so much admiration in such f001ish little sprouts

[Which happens to be Lily's least favorite color. Feels bad, man.]
What happened to your teeth?

[No human's ever actually admired his blood color. They usually just take pride in their own. The way she says her blood is red almost sounds as if she doesn't like it. It reminds him of Nepeta, almost. Her blood is green, okay but not great, yet she's such a pleasant moirail.]
Thank you.
[For once he's going to bite his tongue when it comes to bad-mouthing lesser bloods.]
They were broken during a fight with some of my robots. They'll grow back too...eventually.

[Is she speaking from experience? The world may never know.
They're getting closer and closer to the armory. Lily is excited!]
You have robots?
Reply
It's not that bad, I have enough that it doesn't feel that noticeable. And yes. Well, I build them so I may fight them. Plenty of them, actually. Unfortunately I don't really have the materials to recreate any in a place as primitive as this.
[Upon reaching the doors to the armory, Equius glances back to Lily.]
Is this the place?
Reply
[Lily checks her record.]
Yeah, this is it!
[Lily opens the doors, and -]
Oh.
[- there are weapons everywhere.
Now, Lily hates violence. She hates hurting people. It's awful and wrong. However, weapons... She can't help but be fascinated by them. They're just so cool and clever and complex and some other adjectives that begin with c.
She's like a kid in a candy story.]
Oh wow, look at all this stuff!

[He peers over her as she opens the door, eyes widening at the wide assortment of items.]
Ooah..
[He takes a few steps in with her, staring around at everything.]
Very interesting..
[Equius is a fan of just his fists, but he must admire some of the more menacing looking weapons.]

Oh, man, this is great! Look at this stuff!
[Lily immediately grabs for a morning star, which she easily tosses from hand to hand, admiring the spiked ball.]
I don't even know what this is! Look, man!
Reply
This is all definitely very cool! Imagine the detail and effort that must have been put into smithing such spikes. I wonder who made all of this?
[The troll's looking around and YES HE SPOTS IT. A rather large longbow is seen on display.]
Aha! ...Ah...
[He seems hesitant. As if he knows it'll split in half the moment he grasps it.]

[Lily puts the morning star back and reaches for an axe. She's been trained with a lot of weapons, but... Morning stars? Axes? This stuff is so cool! She tests the blade. It's kind of dull, but it could be sharpened easily. Awesome!]
Hey -
[Lily looks over to Equius, who is looking at... a bow.
A wooden bow.]
... Is that thing made of wood?
Reply
[He smiles back at Lily as she toys with such serious weaponry. For someone who's against violence, she seems to know how to handle a blade.]
Indeed it is. Flexible and light, though strong enough to handle the proper pressure required to launch an arrow.
[He turns back to it, a nervous frown beginning to form. Well, it was nice while it lasted. Equius reaches out to grab the bow, getting ready for the inevitable CRACK.
...And it doesn't seem to break, yet.]
Reply
[Silence. Equius looks... distraught? Is that the right word? Lily leans on her axe.]
Something wrong?
Reply
[It'd probably break all the same, with him.]
It's... Nothing, actually. Which is odd, to be honest.
[He holds it in his hand, feeling his fist close tightly yet there's no splintering or snapping of wood. He places his free hand alongside the first, grabbing the bow with both fists. He can feel it strain, but not break.]
...Huh
Reply
These are cool, I guess.
[She gives the string an experimental twang.]
String's really taut, that's good.

[He can't help but stare at this strange human. If anyone from Alternia even thought he was speaking to a human without being as unpleasant as possible, he'd be culled. Still, he must admit that he's enjoying himself.]
It is. These are very nice. I wonder if there are any- ah!
[Some quivers full of arrows catch his eye. He hasn't even thought about how well he'd be able to fire one.]
Perhaps we can train with them?
Reply
[Lily follows his gaze. Oh, arrows. Of course. Not far from them is a stack of big wooden targets.]
Oh, yeah, definitely! I haven't fired a bow in a while.
[She hands him her bow with a grin.]
You take the bows and arrows, I'll grab the target?
