Haven't seen anyone burst out into song, but people do sing when they see fit.

Welcome to Luceti.

Huh. What do you know, it talks back to anyone who as something to say on these pages. Enchanted then, I'd wager.

Luceti. Right, because that's supposed to mean something to me. You're going to have to be a bit more specific.

Enchanted? More than likely. I really have no clue how this technology works, but this place does have magic, so it's possible.

Well, Luceti is the place you're in now, of course. I'm afraid you're no longer in your own world, but you've been taken somewhere entirely different. It sounds crazy, but the wings and the little tattoo they give you on your neck are a bit of a giveaway. We're trapped here, I'm afraid, as their experiments.

This isn't technology. Machines, gizmos and wires don't do these sorts of things. This is a whammy. One hell of a whammy, but a definite whammy of some sort.

Gathered that much with my own eyes, thanks. Allow me to rephrase: where the bloody hell is Luceti?

No singing, yet.

Don't be surprised if it happens, though.

Yet? Yet's not good. Never say yet. Yet invites the not wanted in.

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. Safe to say I won't. You learn to expect things like that.

[Because Spike really doesn't need the joy of trying to read the handwriting of a chaotic demon right after arrival, seriously.]

I find myself curious about these nasty consequences.

[ the voice that responds is laced with a thick, cockney british accent. ]

--and it talks, too. That's a new aspect. ...well, not really new in the talking sense, but new in the sense that it's not shouting nonsense at you or trying to pull you into its pages. Come across a few of those in my time, but nothing quite like this.

Don't be. Can tell you from experience that bursting into flames and having your flesh nice and charred is anything but a pleasant experience.

[That sort of response has this demon smirking, not that burning does a whole lot to him.] Not for the stupid human who you do it to perhaps.

Now I'm almost disappointed the pathetic idiots don't burst into song, watching them all erupt into flames might actually be a nice change in this place, even if it would smell horrible.

Well, not a stupid human now, am I? And you'd be right foolish to underestimate humans. They have a nasty tendency of surprising you in all the wrong ways. Don't get cocky, mate.

Go on then, give those lab coats ideas. Have them summon red-face and have him make with the song and dance. That always goes well.

Nope, not a joke. And you're not getting out of here anytime soon.

Well, that's just...wonderful. Only, y'know, not.

Yeah, tell me about it. I'd get back to Hueco Mundo as soon as I could, if it were possible.

Hueco Mundo. Where's that, somewhere south of the border in Mexico?

The general public calls this another world, though alternate dimension may apply just as well.

I imagine it would be. That aside, this place is known as Luceti.
