Posting every day is not going to happen, from what I can tell. I do want to try to keep posting more often, though. Today I was named Interim Faculty Director. I moved offices (my new office furniture is fancy!), and that was pretty much it. My ankle is not broken! It's severely sprained, but it's not broken. The doctor gave me a boot thing, but I still have to use crutches for a while to keep from making things worse. The boot isn't bad, and I have maybe used it to walk around without the crutches more often than I should have today. I've missed walking so much!

Real life is a thing that never stops.
This is the first time I've had more than 5 minutes to myself in almost a week. It is glorious. I don't do well without some time to myself, daily if I can manage it. Christmas is over, thank goodness. I've had a wonderful holiday, don't get me wrong, but the stress of the season was terrible this year. I dislike the Christmas holiday season normally because it is so frantic and full of pressure and worry and there are so many things that must get done. This year was somewhat worse than usual.
