So, yesterday my mom asked me if I was gay. Awkward conversation ensued, in which I explained that while I don't identify as gay, I'm not entirely straight. I think of myself as "open to opportunity", meaning that I don't know who I may fall in love with, and I don't want to exclude anyone based on gender (or race or religion or any other factor
