[ooc: for all your empath and other plotting needs]

Raven is something of an empath, meaning your emotions will ping her and the stronger they are, the stronger they will ping her. She can also tell if you're hiding something/lying if she touches you (but socially awkward child is socially awkward, so it won't be a big occurrence). But clearly, this is toeing the info-modding line, so consider ( Read more... )

Permission granted for:
Wreck-Gar [stupiddaredevil]
Nathan Wallace [monsterarises]
Kyd Wykkyd [cannot_spellWreck-Gar is usually pretty up front as well. Typically he's extremely happy and constant sunshine, but occasionally he gets upset, which is something he tries to hide if it's possible, but very hard for him to do anyway since he has the personality function of a child ( ... )

RAVEN WILL WINCE AND THEN RUN AWAY FROM NATHAN. J-just saying. :|

Uhhhhhhh, orz so she and Kyd did not get off to the best start. It's ttly all her fault. Them both being awkward, and her being more than a little viturperative is a bad formula apparently. ;;

THAT IS COOL. Because she should totally be running from Nathan and his crazy.

Well, there's that and Wykkyd is slightly more confrontational than usual due to the event going on. But yeah, they had an awkward start, and I imagine things will be awkward for awhile longer. XD

Dead End deadster-awake: Yes. He

is constantly mildly depressed, with bouts of severe depression. He's morbid and fatalistic, constantly thinking of all the things that could go wrong and kill him right now this minute. Oddly, he's not fearful at all, just resigned to probably dying soon. In fact, he's almost impossible to scare, because he sees himself as a dead bot walking.

SECRET: His fellow Decepticons mostly bore him mindless; he has a huge stash of music and e-books in his memory banks that he listens to instead.

Permission granted for all of mine;

James Hook bloodygoodform James is probably the most secretive and introversive person of the four. He's consistently in a state of pain and desire to prove himself, and has consistent, gruesome thoughts concerning beheading his enemies and sword techniques. He is especially guarded about the love he left back home, Ananova. He's also almost always, in some part, depressed because of the knowledge he has about his hand being cut off some time in the future.

Rip van Winkle hellbornhuntrss Rip is a little...disturbing. Everything about her is all Third Reich-oriented, devotion, loyalty, and the joy of war and killing. But deep, deep, deep down, there's a lot of concern, worry, and love over Derek Rayne red-dust-rising. She may not like that everyone and their mom would know about it, though.

Sari Sumdac the-sari-virus Sari is generally pretty open, usually worried about her family, the Autobots here. She thinks Kyd Wykkyd cannot_spell is kind of cute. Slade likeadadtoyou is keeping an eye on Sari, but I'd probably ask Slade's mun if it's okay to use that too.

Robin Hood thieving_cowl Robin ( ... )

The only canon I know here is Van Winkle's and omggg, you don't have to worry about your secret soft side coming out because this little empath will make sure to stay away as soon as she touches all that surface bloodlust. ;_;

Unrelated: you play two literary character *__* /bows

Yes for Blitzwing (fuhrerofzedance). Normally, his emotions fluctuate between calculating, furious, and insanely happy. His changing faceplates make it pretty obvious which one he's feeling at the moment. He takes pleasure in violence, and considers manipulation to be a sort of pastime. Right now, his big secret is that he's started to consider Starscream to be a friend.

Yes for Larry Butz (notsosmelly). He pretty much wears his heart on his sleeve. He's usually very happy, but can dissolve into tears at the drop of a hat. He's used to people leaving him after a certain amount of time, so he tends to cling to the friends he has. His biggest secret is that Rip made him a vampire, even though that's ... really not a secret at all anymore. -_-

No for Pyramid Head (lets_get_rapey), since his big secret has everything to do with James. And holy crap, why would you want to touch him in the first place.

Yes for Squall Leonhart (shivas_lover). He has a deep-seated fear of abandonment, and tries to keep people from getting too close. Most of the time, his emotions border on total apathy, and ( ... )

ffff She can hang out with Squall? XD;;

Aaaaand I just realized that I read things completely wrong, so um. More of an emotional description of secrets? Squall would be a lot of fear and insecurity, Larry would be some self-loathing, and Blitzwing would be affection. (And yes, that is extremely secret for Blitz.)

*does it right this time?*

They'd probably get along actually. XDD;;

Yes, thank you! :D I think Blitz and Larry would be "loud" enough with their usual feelings that Raven won't be doing much digging at first, anyway. XD

For this account, I'd say yes, though Barbossa's pretty good at wording things just right. He might be telling the truth, technically, but stretching the words and saying exactly what he intends to do. For example: He swears on his honor not to harm someone, he won't, but he reserves the option to get someone else to do it, or put a person in peril where they might get hurt accidentally on purpose.

For Pandora(ailuruslucidity, she'd be close to an open book to read. She's not even aware of such abilities, so she'd be pretty easy. She might pick up that Pandora's not being completely honest about her background, but she almost believes it herself. She might also sense that, despite her apparent obedience to orders, she's actually really anxious to experience the world, and the people in it, freely.

I was unclear about the secrets thing, I apologize. Raven's powers lean much more toward feelings-detection (and even then, she actively shields so as to pick up as little as possible). She has trust issues, but that's all her; she can't really tell when someone's lying, except by intuition.

Ah... okay. Well... I'd say for Barbossa, she could read him.

Pandora... I suspect she might be like an emotional searchlight. She's not learned to temper her emotions, so they'd be plenty easy to pick up on.

Awesome. n-now I just need to know if Raven's empathy is untouched by the city or if it filters back in like other powers.
