Um right. Buffy? Or anyone else who can hear this that knows a thing or two about -- [And here his voice gets a little high and squeaky, almost like dealing with clowns.] vampires -- I need some help? Well, not me. Bones. Maybe me? [Mumbles and kind of even higher and squeakier.] What happens if you get bit by a vampire? Does that make you

However, please relax. You worried me when you fell asleep. As well, eat.
Again, I apologize for it.

I'm fine. And don't apologize? I mean, it's really not your fault. Are you okay?
[Is the furthest from relaxed he can get.]

Please don't worry, I will be fine.

There's a vampire on the loose?

Not on the loose, no. Well. Actually. Yes. Because someone I know got turned into one, and that only happens from other vampires right?

Is there anyway to turn them back?

I warned her, but it's always "Oh no Booth, you're crazy. There's no danger." And then who gets to clean up the mess?

What like a vampire biting people?

Not all vampires are the same as those from our world.
But generally, especially with our sort of vampire, being fed from isn't enough. The person being fed from has to feed from the vampires' blood. That completes the transformation. And if that really has occurred, then I'm afraid there is no cure.
[Giles sighs bitterly and rests his head on his paws.]
Alternatively, the Malnosso can change villagers into vampires whenever they please. Has someone actually been bitten? Because that's still something to address, even if they didn't take any of the vampire's blood for themselves.

So it could just be the Malnosso? Does that mean she'll change back?
And yeah... Bones... My partner and best friend. She woke up as a vampire. Or it happened last night. Um. I kind of gave her some blood. From my wrist. [Actually she just walked in and bit him and scared the bejeezus out of him, but he's not going to admit that.] Apparently she calculated it to to close to two pints? Or something.
Dusting her isn't allowed. Just. Ever. I don't care what happens, I trust her and no one's allowed to hurt her. So if I find the vampire that did do this... he can die.

It could be the Malnosso, yes. Considering what's happening to the village at large, I'm reasonably certain you could blame her transformation on the experiment. In which case, she would return to normal once it ended. It isn't the first time they've turned someone into a vampire and turned them back. And, in my case, that actually involved bringing me back to life.
[He sighs. Is he really going to have to be the one to explain this, Luceti? Really?]
No one will be dusting anyone unless she attacks or hurts someone. And even then, standard procedure would be to lock her up somewhere isolated and keep her fed with the bottled blood we receive until she changed back.
...I'm not saying it isn't possible that she might have been turned by normal means. If she isn't human again by sometime Friday, steps will have to be taken.
But they won't involve dusting.

Thank you.
I'll hold you to that promise though. She's my partner, and I tried to tell her a hundred times over this place is serious and vampires are real here... well, maybe she'll understand now.
So by Friday. I don't think she'll go biting anyone though. Like I said, I kind of offered, and she's already torn up about it. Bones isn't a killer, she catches them.
