i'm so sick of "internet politics". this is a phrase i coined to describe the puzzling tendency for those reaping the perks of anonymity to disregard the abundance of information available to them while debating politics on the internet. they recite the most contrived of examples to prove "points" that they themselves haven't even come up with,

No, that's not what I meant.

What I meant was: If I am having a debate with someone, say on MSN, say on a forum somewhere (www.stupid-debates.com) or whatever, instead of having to explain to someone what they are doing, instead I can just hotlink http://www.livejournal.com/users/unoriginal_37/1709.html and not have to retype the whole thing again. Saves time. The post itself was not meant to bring any debate TO livejournal.
