I tossed around how I wanted to end it...end it more like the original, or not? I always kind of thought the guy in the movie could have fixed things if he'd done some things a little differently, though, and Ryan's smart, so...

This was EXCELLENT. I've only seen parts of The Butterfly Effect and only vaguely remember it, but augh. Amazing. My heart, I was so worried that things wouldn't be okay in the end. So glad that Ryan got his happy ending after all~ Totally saved this to my del.icio.us too. :)

If you watch the movie (which I highly, highly recommend. It's way cooler than my fic...except it doesn't have the band boys, so not really), make sure to watch the Director's Cut ending. It is better, for sure.

Also, thanks so much for the compliments. Hearts, stars, and cool points are definitely exciting.

I... wow. What an incredible ride.

I've never actually seen Butterfly Effect, but I think I followed it just fine regardless.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for that ending. There is no way I could ever believe that Ryan wouldn't succeed in fixing his life once he knew it was possible. All the broken and fucked up realities are so painful, but it just makes the ending that much more impressive.

You so are very welcome for the ending. Ryan is just too smart to not be able to manage eventually. I mean, all he's done in real life...

You should see the movie, even if you did follow the story without it. It's pretty amazing.

Thanks!

I'm so glad you ended it like that! *^_^* The ending of the movie, though awesome, was also kind of heartbreaking. ^^;;; You did an excellent job of adapting the story! I really enjoyed reading it. ^_^

Ah, good. I was definitely worried that people would resent me not sticking to the movie ending. I'm glad you liked it.^^
