I think this semester I will routinely pull 2 all-nighters a week. This week was especially horrible because one of my psets usually due on Monday was due on Wednesday and the one due on Thursday was still due on Thursday, so I slept probably an hour or two in a span of 48+ hrs. I suppose we are still at the point where we pretend that the other doesn't exit, but I want to write what I will write. I've been rejected from more jobs than I care to mention, me who had never been rejected from anything. I was once one of the econ majors of which you speak, but I switched to useless history. So here I am, jobless, as a senior.

I haven't been programming since I was 14 because I didn't have a computer then. I didn't know what it meant to have a car until I bought one myself. You know. Those who hold the power don't.

I turned down scholarship money on principle and now find myself with less than I thought I'd have. That is how it is. I know almost nothing of math anymore, but if you wish to speak, I will listen.

My advice is know what you want and separate that from what you must do. I think it's funny that you wrote "we pretend that the other doesn't exit"-- quite an amusing freudian slip. but I'm sorry we've been out of touch, I really am. Maybe we'll meet up sometime soon, NY is not so far from Boston :)
