Last week I hung out with Sam and Leslie in Vancouver all week; much goodness, sushi and other friends were had.
Yesterday I started a mindfulness practice.
Today I invented the cinnamon mudslide.

And to think I didn't even want to get up on Monday morning.

I drove away from my little apartment for the last time last night. I suprised myself, feeling really sad and nostalgic. Now I'm in Dauphin almost until next summer. There's other stuff too, but I didn't sleep enough, so everything seems more overwhelming than it is and I'm not going to write about it.

Filling out an application for volunteering at Folkfest... Anyone have recommendations for a crew to ask to be on? Darby? Of note: weekend passes and camping passes are sold in bundles this year, so don't forget to buy/wait too long/lose your ticket this time!

I'd like to point out that the sun now officially rises before 8 am here, and in a few days will set after 5:30. I guess 5:30 isn't that awesome, but it's progress!
