Yo everyone, I'm gonna start BIRDWATCHING

I gotta pair of binoculars, and this book is on the way

I am gonna watch the HELL out of those birds!

You would love our apartment. We have these bushes outside the birds like to roost in. We have a family of cardinals and two of the fattest blue jays you have ever seen. And also a pile of little sparrows and chickadees, or as I call them by their scientific name "little chirpy birds." :)

I think my coolest birdwatching moment ever was the bald eagle we spotted coming home from the inlaws that one time. Although once when I was going to go swimming in the lake as a kid there was a blue heron like 50 feet from me. That was pretty awesome, too.

Ryan's parents have a cottage on a lake in central Maine and there are a whole bunch of loons that nest there. Such pretty birds!

When they're calling to each other at night it is just haunting as heck

Somerville is surprisingly full of birds... I've seen cedar waxwings and downy woodpeckers on the bike path. Have fun!
