The auction went well. It was actually quite a bit of fun. I met a lot of my father's colleagues and a couple of blokes from the British Art Market Federation. A few of us went for drinks after; it wound up being quite a pleasant evening, despite my initial reservations about it ( Read more... )

Yeah, I was surprised I didn't see you there ;)

It went well! My father didn't win the piece because the bidding went a bit higher than he'd expected, but it was a good experience all the same.
